The wedding of Andrea and Maria took place in the town of Formigine, near Modena in the Emilia-Romagna region. The preparations of the bride and groom were held in one house, but in two different suits of rooms, so we could feel the tension and the excitement arising in the “male” part of the house, and the ease and fun of the “female” one.
But after the traditional meeting of the couple at the altar of the church Chiesa della Madonna del Ponte and the official ceremony all emotions melted in one shared mood: happiness that the event has instilled and anticipation of an unforgettable continuation of the wedding day in Modena at the restaurant Villa Verganti.
Formigine is known for its castle, Castello di Formigine, Marchese palace and park area that gives excellent opportunities for a wedding photoshoot of the couple after the ceremony and we gladly took advantage of this picturesque area.
The couple has chosen Villa Verganti in Formigine for their wedding banquet. The villa is a former country residence of the families Verganti-Zanelli and today it provides a variety of areas of lush greenery for a comprehensive wedding reception: wedding aperitif, dinner, cake cutting and afterparty. We really enjoyed this location that was an excellent setting for the events of that evening.
