Among all the weddings which we were honoured to shoot, the international German-Italian destination wedding in Marche region of Pietro and Giulia has become one of the most unusual in terms of the locations choice. It started with the preparations of the bride and groom that took place in quite a traditional location for destination weddings in Marche, a beautiful Villa Bellazona in rustic style, but the ceremony and banquet locations were absolutely unique. But let us tell you one thing at a time.

So, the cozy Villa Bellazona is located just 2 km from the town of Petritoli in the Marche region and boasts the territory of about 80.000 square meters, planted with sunflowers, olives, vineyards and grain. The preparations of the groom and bride, their baby and the most near and dear were held there. As soon as everyone was ready we found ourselves at the theater Teatro dell’Iride in Petritoli in anticipation of the official civil ceremony. This theater of the 19th century is the very place where for many years love stories have been recreated on the scene. And it is here that Pietro and Giulia began their story in the presence of friends and family.

And another splendid location was that of  the gala dinner in honor of the newlyweds: the city square in Petritoli. It is one of the main attractions of the town with its 40-meter tower, built in the 19th century and designed by Giuseppe Sabbatini. The tower is open to public and gives a unique panoramic view of the surrounding area, so we gladly took advantage of this opportunity. And then we enjoyed a laid-back, cheerful and warm evening under the light of stars, that gradually turned into a disco party.
