All regions of Italy have their own character, but in many ways they resemble each other. Anyway Apulia, one of the most eastern of them, stands out among others. Snow-white houses, huge plantations of secular olives, the famous “puppet houses” trulli and truly heavenly beaches that seem to be those of commercials – all this makes the traveler to wonder whether he is still in Italy. Not surprisingly, every wedding in Apulia gives us a great joy of discovery.
The wedding in Apulia of Francesco and Yulia took place at typical farm of the region, called Masseria Santa Teresa and located in Monopoli. It operates now as a hotel and restaurant.
The ceremony was held outdoors in the American style, and began with the integral part – the wedding procession. The couple decided to spice up the solemn atmosphere with lively music, but most of the guests were moved to tears anyway.
After the ceremony we had a short walk in the charming town of Polignano a Mare and then the wedding reception with a variety of local dishes. With its love for good food this is very similar to the rest of Italy 😉
