Weddings in Tuscany are becoming more popular every season. This is not surprising as Tuscany has it all to make any wedding outstanding: hilly landscapes that look magical in photos, secluded ancient villas and castles and, of course, authentic local cuisine. The destination wedding in Tuscany of Siobhan and Chris confirmed the rule, and we were lucky to be the wedding photographers for this couple.

For her destination wedding in Tuscany, Siobhan chose natural curls and makeup from Annartstyle Make Up and Hair, emphasizing the beauty of her bright blue eyes. Elegant open dress with elongated hem was a perfect fit for the surrounding countryside. A classic three-piece suit of Chris was a harmonious accord of the all-blue guest dress code. It is always very rewarding to photograph a wedding with a well-thought style!

The couple chose Castello del Trebbio, 15 kilometers from Florence, as their wedding location. Formerly owned by an ancient Pazzi family, today the castle is a private property with rustic architecture, hosting a winery and an excellent restaurant. As the owners themselves note, the modern Castello del Trebbio is in harmony with nature in the heart of the Chianti region.

The bride and groom preparations took place in the restored villas and apartments in the former farm houses of the estate. A symbolic wedding ceremony and a buffet reception were held in the courtyard of the castle, and a banquet was set on the terrace with panoramic views of the surrounding vineyards and hills. The sunset light and crescent twilight added a poetic touch to the evening and to our banquet photos.
