Wedding in Torre di Palme || Fabio and Silvia
Fabio and Silvia are an energetic couple from Verona who came back to their native region - Marche, to get married in a church in Torre di Palme. This small town in the province of Fermo is known for its fascinating medieval historic center, streets in bloom and a breathtaking panoramic view of the Adriatic Coast. There is a church built in the 12th century (Chiesa di Santa Maria a Mare) on one of these panoramic terraces, where the official Catholic wedding ceremony was held.
A wonderful surprise was waiting for us after the ceremony. Silvia was playing in a drum band from Fermo called "Tamburini Cavalcata dell'Assunta". One can meet this band made up of the kettledrums, snare drums and the flag bearers during a theatrical medieval festival. However, this time the band arrived to congratulate the newly married couple on their wedding. This cheerful performance marked the conclusion of the official part of the wedding day and the beginning of the banquet at the restaurant "Chalet Ristorante Minonda" in Porto San Giorgio was marked by such a cheerful performance. A magnificent festive dinner, many different contests, dances on the beach and fireworks were waiting for us at the water's edge in honor of newly married couple.
