Wedding in Mornico Losana || Paolo and Alina
Within an hour's drive from Milan, hidden between the hills and vineyards there is a small town Mornico Losana, which is home to just over 700 people. Above the town stands the castle of the XII century, which has everything necessary for a wedding: cozy rooms for the preparations of the bride and groom, fine locations and interiors for shooting, a spacious and well-equipped banquet hall. So it is not surprising that Paolo and Alina decided to get married there.
The civil ceremony took place in the square of the City Hall, and then the newlyweds and guests have spent the rest of the day in the castle. Alina has made almost all the wedding accessories with her own hands. Decoration for tables, guests seating charts, the greeting cards, the bride’s bouquet, and even a the wedding dress – were the result of her work. There were many other interesting moments at the wedding. For example, the guests organized all sorts of funny competitions for the bride and groom, immediately after the ceremony. During the the banquet an ancient Russian wedding custom was performed, called "ransom of the bride", in which the groom or the guests buy back the bride paying a real or nominal fee. Paolo had to fight monsters and sing a serenade: see below if he succeeded.
